Ziem The museum was established in 1908, following a donation of Felix Ziem (1821-1911) to the town of Martigues a sketch of Toulon, visit of President Émile Loubet to French and Italian squadrons in April 1901. The museum is installed since 1982 in a former barracks Customs rehabilitated. Devoted to Fine Arts at its inception, the municipal museum has enriched many collections: from archeology to contemporary art through a large ethnographic collection. Ziem's work is represented in many oils and graphic works.
