Presentation
There are 2 000 years ago, was a Gallic capital Bibracte on Mount Beuvray located in the heart of Burgundy. Today is one of the largest European archaeological sites of the Celtic period.

Bibracte is the name of the ancient capital of the Aedui, powerful Gallic people who occupied the second and first centuries BC one of the highest peaks of Burgundy, Mont Beuvray in the Morvan Regional Park, at the limit of the departments of Nièvre and Saône-et-Loire.

Today, Bibracte is a cultural and scientific place that manages a European research center that hosted each year hundreds of archaeologists and students, an archaeological site excavated each season by university teams from across Europe and a museum, presenting an overview of Celtic civilization, but also the discoveries made on the site of Bibracte.

In the heart of the most beautiful forests of the Morvan, is history that awaits you.
