The Natural History Museum of Angers, also known as Museum of Natural Sciences of Angers, present to the public the human adventure since the prehistoric period. Nearly 100,000 records and documents, including 2,500 birds, 20,000 shells and 50,000 fossils are on display in the historic buildings of the former hotel Demarie's Day, dating from 1521.

The Museum has two major scientific fields: zoology and paleontology section. The themes of the collections relate to the natural sciences (botany, entomology, geology, paleontology) and the humanities (Human Sciences, Prehistory).

The zoological collections are installed in particular from the early nineteenth century hotel; about the paleontology collections, they are presented in the former town hall.
