Founded in 1984 under the name "Center for the Fine Arts," the museum has become the "Miami Art Museum" in 1992, only to be called Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). The museum houses modern and contemporary works of the twentieth and nineteenth centuries.

Opened in December 2013, the new building of the Pérez Art Museum Miami was designed by the architects Herzog & de Meuron. The museum is spread over three floors, with a porch, hanging trees and shady spots - the architects have also thought about the future development of the museum and left enough room to let grow trees and plants.

The permanent collection is located on the first and second floors, and the rest is dedicated to temporary collections. PAMM meets modern art (years 1850-1945) and contemporary (from 1945 to the present) and presents artists and works from all over the world, with a slight preference for the art of the Americas.

With panoramic views of Biscayne Bay and lush vegetation, the PAMM calls to entertainment and nightlife. Brunches, cocktail parties, weddings, receptions, business meetings, dinners ... Rent a space, plan appetizers and let yourself go to visit a gallery.
