This villa reconstruction of a real ancient Greek remains whose name evokes the mythical Alcion, born from the collaboration of the archaeologist Theodore Reinach with architect Emmanuel Pontremolli (Grand Prix de Rome in 1890).

On the peninsula of the Bay of Ants Theodore Reinach chooses for his home a place close to the ancient Greek port of Anao. The style is inspired by a Greek house of Delos, located between the second half of the second century and the beginning of the 1st century BC.

Typical parts form the villa Kérylos:
> The Andron: (1908) According to Vitruvius the Andron is a chat room for men. Two doors lead onto a portico with two Ionic columns in Serravezza marble, whose capitals are of Carrara marble. The "peach blossom" marble adorns the walls of the spacious lounge. The central design of the mosaic face Theseus slaying the Minotaur in the labyrinth. the living room is filled with all types of furniture inspired by antiquity.

> The Peristyle (1908) It consists of a courtyard surrounded by twelve white Carrara marble columns. On the walls, frescoes are inspired by Attic vases kept in the museums of Berlin, Munich and the Vatican. Various legends are represented as the argument of the lyre between Apollo and Hermes or the death of Talos after winning the Golden Fleece.
